S.C. Shandor, Inc., located in the greater Smith Mountain Lake, VA area, is proud to be a locally owned and operated building business that provides an array of building services to homeowners and small businesses.  Our gamut of services offered includes renovations & remodeling, additions, porches, decks & docks, garages, outbuildings and other miscellaneous items such as painting, flooring, and window & door installs.  Our small team of builders bring a wide variety of building experience to the table.  This hard-working group can definitely pull their own weight any day, but when they're on the job with S.C. Shandor they fall under the leadership of our owner and General Contractor, Steven Shandor. 

Steve already had a toolbox full of experience in the business when he decided to take it to the next level (becoming a father can fill you with lots of inspiration and determination) so he hunkered down and studied hard.  In 2006, he earned his Class A Builder / Contractor's license which enables him to work on and supervise any project residential or commercial no matter the cost.  But, Steve quickly determined that his passion and character were a great fit for working with individual homeowners and small businesses who needed specific work done at an honest price that wouldn't break the bank.  

Unfortunately, as with many fellow builders, the market crash in 2009 put us out of commission for a bit, but we're back in full swing again and ready to take on your project!  If you would like more detailed information on S.C.
